There is much to discover and enjoy in the 2024/25 season. Chief conductor Kirill Petrenko interprets the great symphonic repertoire and opens up new perspectives with music of our time. In addition, our partnerships with two artists who have a special connection to the Berliner Philharmoniker will be intensified: Pianist Seong-Jin Cho as Artist in Residence and Wolfgang Rihm as Composer in Residence. In February 2025, our biennial entitled Paradise Lost? will focus on our environment – both its beauty and its destruction. We look forward to welcoming long-standing partners as well as new guests such as Marin Alsop, Joana Mallwitz and Kazuki Yamada. Another new feature is our series of short concerts, each of which ends with a get-together in the foyer.
